The way we live each stage of life leaves a lasting impression on others and a legacy. I know there are certain things in my life that I hold and value- certain decisions that I do not want to compromise.
When I jeapordize those standards for someone else- it not only makes me have less respect for myself but have less respect for the value of the relationship before God. I have to remain true to my heart in what I know is right for me. Each person has a different conviction level. But honesty is what is important and mutual respect for each others differences even if they are different than your own.
My lasting impression will be to be someone who remains true to herself no matter what the cost may be.
